Graduate TA Handbook and Resources

A Handbook for Teaching Assistants and Teaching Fellows in Arts & Sciences

Welcome to W&M's Graduate Teaching Handbook and Resources!

This collection of resources was curated by William & Mary graduate students for W&M graduate students. Whether you are in the humanities or sciences, and whether this is your first time as a teaching assistant or you are designing your own course, you will find links and advice to help you throughout the semester. This site is organized chronologically, from preparing for your first day of class to receiving and reflecting on feedback from your students.  You can use the side navigation to jump in wherever you need.

Happy teaching!
