Important Guidelines
- Foremost: the OCR is bad and there will be false hits.
- Keep your searches simple. Two or Three terms, Four max.
- Use the built in limiters in the database to narrow results.
- Be mindful of terminology and keywords. Use language from the time period.
- Once you find a newspaper article on your topic, pay attention to the language they use. Look for possible keywords you might use.
- Use the NEAR command
- Use the Headline feature.
