- Highlight databases most well-suited to finding peer reviewed articles about the history of Africa before 1800.
- Provide specific tips on finding peer reviewed materials on topics such as: Africa's cultural heritage, state building, trade, Islam, Christianity, Colonization, and other issues.
- Highlight primary source databases in which you can find possible materials to discuss in your Unit Project assignments
- Provide specific tips on using these databases to find interesting and relevant primary sources
- Create a reference guide in which all these resources are in one place.
