- Highlight databases most well-suited to finding peer reviewed articles about the history of post-1800 Africa
- Provide specific tips on finding peer reviewed materials on topics such as: African state-building, slavery, abolition, Islam & Christianity in Africa, Colonialism, Anti-colonialism, Pan-Africanism, African Independence movements, and other issues.
- Highlight primary source databases in which you can find possible materials to discuss in your Unit Project assignments
- Provide specific tips on using these databases to find interesting and relevant primary sources
- Create a reference guide in which all these resources are in one place.
