CURATE(D) Training

The Data Curation Network developed data curation modules, called CURATE(D) Training, as part of an IMLS grain. These seven modules provide an introduction to applied data curation and were designed for those brand new to data curation, looking to refresh there skills, and those looking to apply data curation to their research data. It is best to follow them sequentially.

Data Primer: Making Digital Humanities Research Data Public
This Data Primer was collaboratively authored by over 30 Digital Humanities researchers and research assistants, and was peer-reviewed by data professionals. It serves as an overview of the different aspects of data curation and management best practices for digital humanities researchers.

The Data Curation Network provides access to a collection of Data Curation Primers for specific subject, disciplinary area or curation task. Ranges from qualitative primers on ATLAS.ti, Oral Histories and NVivo to quantitative and mapping primers on Clinical Trials, R, Geodatabase and more.
