Environmental Education

NAAEE is a 'national membership organization dedicated to strengthening the field of environmental education and increasing the visibility and effectiveness of the profession.' They have a variety of useful resources, including in-depth reports and analysis of current environmental education efforts. They're a great resource for information on national environmental legislation.

The 1990 National Environmental Education act led to the establishment of the Office of Environmental Education (housed under the Environmental Protection Agency), and remains an important piece of legislation governing environmental education at the federal level.
