This is the course guide for AMST/ANTH 100 - Hear, Here: The Oral History of Williamsburg. Use this guide as a resource for getting started with finding sources for your podcast, but don't think of this as an exhaustive list of sources. Research can take many different angles and use an infinite combination of information sources, so you may very well need to go outside of this guide to get all of the information you need to answer your chosen research question. That is okay; this guide is meant to give you ideas for the kinds of sources you might use for your research.
Please know that you can always get help from the libraries. This project is challenging and will likely require research skills that are brand-new to you. The key is to start your research early, know when to call in an expert, and be flexible in what you hope to find.
