This project tracks 238 ethnic-minority groups from around the world, "identifying where they are, what they do, and what happens to them." Focus is on politically significant non-state communal groups and ethnopolitical groups.

Data is sourced from various UN agencies, the World Bank, peace institutes, the EIU and other respected sources.
