Keio University Students' Research Guide

A guide for Keio University students doing scholarly research during their time at William & Mary.

Welcome!

Welcome to the research guide for Keio University students visiting William & Mary!

This guide will help you find books, articles, statistics, and other resources for your research papers and projects.

What's in this guide

This guide consists of two main parts:

  1. An introduction page with videos about using William & Mary Libraries
  2. A page with some specific recommendations for each group's topic. Each page will have a few recommended databases and books that your group may want to try out to locate sources.

You might also find it worthwhile to check out the "General Sources" page to get ideas for starting points for overall comparisons between the US and Japan.

Using this guide

We highly recommend you watch the videos on the introduction page before attempting to use any of our resources to locate research. W&M Libraries has a huge amount of information, and these videos will give you a quick introduction on using our resources efficiently.

In addition, use this guide as a starting point for your topics. You'll likely need to branch outside of the recommended resources, and that's okay! Use the page for your topic as a jumping-off point to explore further.
