HIST 150: Unlearning US History (Fall 2025)

Need *immediate* help? Try the chat feature on the main page. It's staffed by a full time member of the library faculty during business hours. If the question is extremely complex they'll forward you to me, but if it's a fairly quick question, they'll be able to help right away. Fortunately, quite a few of the librarians have experience in historical research, so you're in great hands!

The Michael and Kathleen Clem History Writing Center, located in 347 James Blair Hall, offers free consultations for students working on research and writing assignments for history courses. We work with students at all levels, from those new to writing about history to advanced graduate students.

The mission of the TutorZone is threefold: to contribute to student retention and academic achievement, to coordinate the services of well-qualified and trained peer tutors, and to assist students with the development of independent learning skills.
The TutorZone can help with:
Learning skills vital to success in particular courses
Practicing problem-solving skills
Reviewing course material
Please note that the TutorZone is not able to help with specific assignments.
At this point in the semester, we are unable to add Tutors for courses we do not already offer. Please contact your professor if you need assistance in a course the TutorZone does not currently offer.
